General Manager of Aldesan Yalçın Şenol who indicate that they have made a production of subterranean – overground stock tanks where fuel products and LPG sector need it, electronical fuel products - LPG selling dispensers and mobile (container) fuel products stations also said that they make representation of some international companies as well. Senol answered our questions related with his activities:

Do you give information regarding your products and production activities?

Our company is manufacturing stock tanks where fuel products and LPG sector need it, electronical fuel products selling dispensers and mobile (container) fuel products stations for it’s domestic and foreign customers and customer candidates in it’s factory in Sultanbeyli, İstanbul. Our company services with respect to procurement of imported equipment as part of distributorship and our exclusive agreements with products of American BENNETT who has a background for very long-term, German AFRISO and Czech ADAST companies to fuel products and LPG sector.

What are your quality standards?

Our company has every certificates legal and sectoral in it’s all products which have been manufactured. To give an example as domestic document and certificates TSE, TSEK, CE etc. for atmospherical fuel products stock tanks and pressured containers LPG stock tanks as well as has international product document and certificates as well like ATEX and MID for fuel products – LPG selling dispensers. Also we have document and certificates for production of container mobile fuel products stations too situated Design Registration and Utility Model document which been taken from Turkish Patent Institute. ISO 9001: Our Quality Management System document is available and we perform thorough all necessarities. Thus we provide permanence of product and service quality which our customers deserve.  

Which sectors you service to? Where have your products use?

We service to fuel products and LPG sector predominantly. We service along with to mechanical engineering sector as well.

Do you appraise your first quarter performance and compare with the same period of last year?

In first quarter of this year where we have seen completely affects of global cricis and negative influences under several sectoral legislation and regulations and where we have expectations that we will get through a bad period, first quarter of year did’t get through dreadfull as exactly we wait nevertheless had shown itself as a quite hard period instead of previous years. It has became a bad quarter. It can be appraise as most gray quarter of other manufacturers who make jobs like us.

Which expectations and targets you have from 2010?

I am expecting to be ended the global crisis in our country and also all around the world, to be removed the negativities within manufacturing industry by public organisations like Ministry of Trade and Industry or TSE. Unfortunately, it is a common fact that there is unfair competition and really serious threats in our country. Related Ministries, Cooperation and Establishments do not take care required attention and cause for companies without certificates or proficiencies to go on their business activities. They also encourage these companies, and as the results have been completed in long terms in specialised courts, it can be also said that they support this kind of activities. Whereas, as it is known, the unfair competition in parallel with our country industry and it’s industrialist are suffered highly. Our primary target at this point is to be permanent and long term firm within the sector as well as to be trustable and preferred company both in Turkey and also in international arena. At the same time to participate considerably in the current equipment market.

Any requests to add…

As it is same all over the world, I am also expecting to have required activities in order to prevent unfair competition, to have conveniences with the aim of defending legal rights without looking at the size of manufacturing companies. We are waiting some special investments for our service industry with respect to consider required quality production and possessed certifications by manufacturers. For instance, related certifications and documentation should be asked from petrol and LPG stations in our country. Sufficient attention should be shown in this issue. The operating certificate is also a very significant document for business licences. We are also expecting to be asked licences from EPDK. This and those similar activities will definitely prevent purchasing of poor quality and price-connected products. That is to say, manufactured products convenient with international regulations and safety rules will be supplied. As these benefits would create local and global marketplaces without unfair competition, it will also sustain to be enlarged our manufacturer’s market shares. There have been a majority of adequate companies who produce quality products in our country and also in global markets. I desire these companies to be supportive legally and to be facilitated manufacturing rights. In order to state the size of our sector, I will be glad to remind you that there are approximately 16 thousands of petrol and gas stations and nearly 12 millions of motor vehicles in Turkey, and we serve for this sector along with our safety equipments.  We are courageous and entrepreneur businessmen who are constituent mainly the national economy. I believe that the economy administrators know this fact. All of us can employ minimum 25-30 employee and up to 250 individuals for some larger manufacturers. These firms can also reveal value-added tax for the economy. This fact should be distinguished and required support as well as coordination between financial and real sectors should be given.
